Cooking in Chianti

Experience the opportunity of cooking with an opened window overlooking the Chianti hills and Tuscan landscape using genuine products of Paola’s garden:  saffron, lemon, basil, oregano, mint, chives, olive oil from the garden’s olive trees.

Paola will teach you how to prepare home made Tuscan food dishes that will be tasted and ate at the end of the lesson. The menu is subject to seasonal products and climate.

    Oh my gosh! This cooking class was a highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Paolo and her family went out of their way to prepare a lovely cooking and dining experience for our group of six. Together we made 6 different recipes (including the best tiramisu I've ever had) and were able to dine with them at their lovely home. Paolo did a lot of the prep work so even if you you're not an aspiring Italian chef you'll find this fun, entertaining, and very satisfying. She is absolutely lovely and put her heart and soul towards creating an affordable class that was wonderful in every way. When we go back - this will be one of the first activities we book!

    Spending time in Paola’s kitchen is a wonderful place to learn about foods that are typically eaten in the Chianti region. But really, it is so much more. Paola is passionate about cooking and she really wants you to learn how to cook her recipes and enjoy her food. Paola’s home is charming and her entire family is very much a part of the whole experience. We spent several enjoyable hours with her in the kitchen, and the end result was a wonderful Tuscan meal. When we left Paola’s we were absolutely stuffed with food that we could and would make again in our own kitchens.
